Gnomoria Well

Well, I'd be surprised if someone over on the Gnomoria forums hasn't completely analyzed the exact figures for sleep management I'm not a min-maxer, but I.
Gnomoria.com posted:Gnomoria is a sandbox village management game. You help a small group of gnomes start a new kingdom and survive as long as possible! If you've played Dwarf Fortress or Towns, the gameplay will be familiar to you,you gather resources, mine and set up your base and also defend it from nasty intruders while expanding your colony.Screenshots:Gameplay ResourcesGnomoria is available right now in Alpha for $8 ($10 at release) ator on DesuraIt seems that if you purchase through Desura that it will take a day or two for the updates from the Developer to be brought into Desura, which can be annoying when there are multiple updates a week in Alpha.
Apr 8, 2020 02:59.Yeti Fiasco Aug 19, 2010A cool effort, looks promising, but maybe you should hold your horses and wait until you're further along before asking for money, I'm pretty sure everyone's been burnt already by buying games in alpha and it really doesn't work too well.Great luck with it though, I'd love to see the complexity of DF in a 'more usable' environment.Jun 24, 2012 13:50.NiknudStunod May 2, 2009I tried it and could not get past the horrible menus. Moving the frame to the top of the screen still left gaps on the side of the window.I'm also not particularly fond of the font used.e: vvv Oh, okay, I got the feeling you were the dev.Tsurupettan fucked around with this message at 14:07 on Jun 24, 2012Jun 24, 2012 13:58.Anemone Thief Dec 27, 2007. I've played already a few hours and it's been very fun, so in my opinion it is worth the $8 for early access. However, each to their ownJun 24, 2012 13:58.a bad enough dude Jun 30, 2007APPARENTLY NOT A BAD ENOUGH DUDE TO STICK TO ONE THING AT A TIME WHETHER ITS PBPS OR A SHITTY BROWSER GAME THAT I BEG MONEY FOR AND RIPPED FROM TROPICO. ALSO I LET RETARDED UKRANIANS THAT CAN'T PROGRAM AND HAVE 2000 HOURS IN GARRY'S MOD RUN MY SHIT.
He carried our avenging steel over the Rhine,He drank the emperor's toast from the Danube.Downloading demo right now, if they got even one third of stuff you can do in DF(and cut out all the useless spergy stuff that kills your CPU), so gonna get this.e: Also I have bad habit shelling like 5-10bux to indie games still in early alpha and forget them in week or two, so I'll need to slap myself before I do anything. Instead I found a cool new game. While my quest for answers continues at least I have something to do during the interim. Thanks OP.Jun 24, 2012 19:38.Disappointing Pie Feb 7, 2006Words cannot describe what a disaster the pie was.Glad to see someone made a thread for this. As a dude who tried many many times to get into DF finding this last week was amazing. It scratches that itch that I wanted DF to fix but does it in a much less complex way.
Hopefully the dev keeps up with adding features and bug fixes and the game could really become something.Jun 24, 2012 20:49.im a girl btw Jan 15, 2004I just bought this last night after reading about it in the Towns thread and playing the demo. I accidentally played til 2 in the morning, it's very fun. The graphics are cute and I actually like the bad BGM.The interface takes a bit of getting used to but after a couple of hours I was using it fairly competently. There are a lot of things that could be made a lot easier though.I think I might start a new game right now.
I ended up getting a few goblin attacks last night which killed off a decent chunk of my gnomes, then I accidentally trapped a whole bunch of them at the bottom of a pit (didn't realise I had dug up the ramps out) and they all died of thirstJun 24, 2012 21:31.Disappointing Pie Feb 7, 2006Words cannot describe what a disaster the pie was.I really like the interface but wanted to see if anyone else notices the couple problems I'm having with the UI. It seems slightly difficult to select the crafting/building options when you right click. Maybe my mouse is too sensitive but options seems to disappear to fast. Also trying to drag select things seems to be difficult, the highlight that appears over the blocks is a bit difficult to determine where exactly it's hovering over. I was having lots of issues trying to make a room symmetrical and dragging enough space over the area I was trying to select.Jun 24, 2012 22:53.Sparta Aug 14, 2003. That removes both the top floor and the wall, and your gnomes can't get stuck doing it.Jun 25, 2012 03:23.Red Robin Hood Jun 24, 2008Motherfucking Space Shaaaaaaaaarks!BuglordThis looks fun. One of my soldiers got both his legs smashed up by a goblin with a hammer so I retired him and now he just gets drunk all day in the great hall then slowly crawls to bed. Will his legs eventually heal or is he crippled for life?I'd just let him be but he's wearing my only metal armour and I don't know how to get him to take it off. If he's no good for fighting and he won't remove his gear I'm going to have to build a box around him and starve him to death, which seems like a poor way of treating a disabled veteran.Jun 25, 2012 12:06.rizuhbull Mar 30, 2011. It looks like there will be an infirmary with doctors but it's just not implemented yet. I'm not sure about getting him to remove armor though.Jun 25, 2012 12:54.Gorillian Dollars Jan 22, 2012We are selling to willing buyers at the current fair market price, even if we know it has no value.Tried the demo, still playing it for a few minutes daily, the FAQ i found was bare-bones and the unofficial wiki's 'getting started' page only gets you past the first 2 essential minutes. I couldn't at first even figure out how to get a base into the mountain.Still, i have actually.progressed. further than i did with Dwarf Fortress, i found myself reinstalling the Lazy-Newb pack with tilesets every few months, playing for a few minutes and running into problems and confusion right along.I find the right-click menu actually quite useful right now, but then again i've never even got so far as to use shortcuts in DF. The display of stocks could be much simpler, planks and stoneblocks would be better to see in the top left-corner like the food/drinks instead of hidden in a submenu in the stockpile section.Jun 25, 2012 13:33.JuHoZ May 13, 2009Strange, just visited the page and it seems to be suspended. Bought the game yesterday and been having a blast.
My only problem is that contrary to Towns, this game seems to have no problem with having food or drinks. Hunger as a whole is a pretty non-issue at all times. All in all I recommend all to atleast give the demo a try, if you like dwarf fortress style gaming this is a really good candidate.Jun 25, 2012 15:49.Disappointing Pie Feb 7, 2006Words cannot describe what a disaster the pie was.Should be fixed now, they mentioned on Reddit that their webhost is not happy with the sudden influx of traffic the sites receiving so they are looking at moving to a larger host.Jun 25, 2012 16:43.Rexides Jul 25, 2011Wow, a game with the gameplay of Dwarf Fortress, the graphics of Stonesense and an actual User Interface?
