One of the core duel maps for the upcoming 2.0 release of Red Eclipse, ffs22 has gotten a fairly significant update, fixing the inefficiency in the slant texturing, improving parkourability around fixtures, glass improvements, geometry fixes, and a new center fixture. The relevant issue is at, where the latest revision (r280) is available for download. Note that 2.0 maps can only be opened on the Tesseract-based development version of RE, and not the stable 1.6 version. As with all of the other work for 2.0, this work is released under an open source license; this map is licensed under the WTFPL v2. Thanks for the feedback.I'll see about changing the floor if the consensus agrees that it is a problem. Twisted sister. I can't spam lights willy-nilly in Tesseract any more, because they are realtime and not baked like in Cube 2; the performance of a map is primarily dependent on the number and size of lights.I'm somewhat confused what you mean by 'non-Euclidean' however; it's not easily possible to make compound curves in Tesseract, and I'm fairly certain this map has none.I don't have a mic and usually don't have people online on the dev version to play with, but I'll see about perhaps getting a video working for my current project, ffs35, when I finish it in January.
