Except most my early computer gaming was on the Vic 20 and 64 etc.Anyway.what makes this game worth your time is it is something that is truly fresh and fun. The game is half wacky sci-fi adventure and the other half tactical space combat.Neither half taken to far to the extreme to take away from the fact that this is intended to be a nice fun 30-60 minute game of your romping through space helping cat smugglers and thwarting the evil penguin pirate fleet. Yeah you read that right.
The cast of characters you will meet on your adventure are wacky, unlikely and perfect for this game. I caught myself numerous times chuckling at the oddball dark humor tied into the adventure parts of the game.The ship combat is also very well done. Its basically a game involving flanking and tactics to try to position your ships in a way to take out the enemy which is done mainly with flanking hits to the enemy bottom and aft sections of the ships. The whole affair is just fun and a nice variation to the overly complicated games of today.Give it a try if you have any interest at all. For such a low price tag its well worth your time.
