In the universe, there is a small but peaceful planet, which is home to cute little particles called LocoRoco. However, an evil force suddenly emerged that people called Moja with the purpose of invading the planet. To protect the peace of his beloved planet, the Loco team up to stand against the dark forces Moja.
The first thing that impresses me the most when I start playing is the bright colors and the cute Loco characters. They are like soft slimes with different round animals. The purpose of the player is to control the Loco to help them restore world peace, occasionally fighting with the Moja. The journey is divided into five worlds and each of them is divided into eight levels. Although each world looks a bit different, the gameplay is actually unchanged. Usually there are twenty fruits in each level. The player merely goes to the end of the journey. Occasionally, Loco will encounter Moja but not so much, killing Moja is as simple as jumping on them. In essence, the main purpose is to explore the level and find hidden areas by piercing through walls. In these areas there will be more berries, or there are little guys called Mui Mui (they are the key to opening Loco House – one of the side options). Loco House is a fitness area for Loco with various parts unlocked in the main game. Although LocoRoco’s gameplay is a bit lengthy and somewhat monotonous. But with the cute, lively graphics, Loco’s face is full of personality and the complete music increases the overall appeal.
