Horodyn is a fictional land, named after the first king who founded the kingdom. However, ever since King Horodyn left, the demons have invaded and made people live in fear. The gods have appeared and said that only the ancient Arcana stone has enough power to repel the enemy, and bring everything back to equilibrium. As a warrior, you’ll set out to search for Arcana with the instructions and initial information provided by the NPC. By performing the assigned tasks, the path to the ancient stone will gradually be shortened. However, this means that the level of difficulty is gradually increasing. Fortunately, this release supports a connection feature, allowing team-up players with three other friends to form a team and fight together. Lord of Apocalypse is in the role-playing genre, so the character is designed quite detailed with the magic system and combat skills. Although in the beginning, everything is not available. After that, the player can learn, and attack enemies with magic, fire, light to cause more damage or summon monsters to receive get more support.
Over in Japan, Square Enix has released a demo for the Playstation Portable and Playstation Vita hunter game Lord of Apocalypse. In addition of being available on the Japanese Playstation Store, the demo will also be available online on 4Gamer and Famitsu.com, so those outside of Japan (which would be most of us) and who are curious how this game plays out, there is access to the demo right there. It worked for the Final Fantasy Type-0 demo, so it should work here. So, what does the demo contain?
The pulley system introduced in is nowhere to be seen. Some of them are jagged or have walls inside them, which forces the player to change strategy. Small blocks appear in some levels. Super bust a move characters. They change the bubbles' trajectories, much like walls, but they move down with the level and fall off when they touch the line. Levels do not always have the usual rectangular shape.
Well, there will be two quests available, one for beginners and one for advanced players. Both of these quests will not feature in the final game. Despite the fact that it is a demo for the Playstation Portable version, it will be a great chance to have some sort of idea what the Playstation Vita version will be like, since content will be the same in both versions.
