N ippon Ichi Software has revealed which character you’ll meet in their upcoming RPG, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2. This creatively titled sequel is a follow-up to. No – wait – my bad, it’s a sequel to The Witch and the Hundred Knight, a quirky ARPG by the same developer.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight‘s foul-mouthed protagonist – the Swamp Witch Metallia – seemed to be universally hated by critics when the original game was released. Yet here we are, with the game’s Western release of March 27th edging ever closer. Check out the trailer below.

Metallia 1 year ago #2 Considering the first game is my favourite story in any game ever and the second game got a resounding 'meh', I can see why people suggest it did poorly. Gameplay-wise it was almost entirely just a copy-paste from the original, so it's not winning many points there either.
