However, if a treasure chest appears, it's worth it to catch that and the fish, even if it means abandoning the perfect bonus. There's real good loot available. Fishing is one of the things with Stardew Valley that really does just take some practice. Thankfully, the mobile fishing is really well implemented and it works better for me than PC.
